The Dodgers just received Manny Ramirez in a three-way deal with the Red Sox and Pirates. The Dodgers gave up Andy LaRoche and Byron Morris and got Manny in return. I’d have to say this would be an idiotic trade for the Dodgers because Manny is already 36, and he has $7 million dollars remaining on his contract for this year. Aside from this, he’s MANNY RAMIREZ. He’ll do whatever he wants and could be a cancer to the clubhouse.
But, he’ll give you 30 and 100 every year and that’s something the Dodgers needed. With 5 outfielders that deserve playing time, well 4 because Andruw Jones is a piece of crap, Torre’s going to mix and match because we need Manny’s bat in the lineup. And one more thing that made this trade bearable to me… the Red Sox are going to pay ALL of the remaining $7 million on his contract. =)
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this will all turn out.

Yeah, I know, Aaron is the crazy one when it comes to Mighty Muggs, but seriously… OPTIMUS PRIME! Truth is I’m bored at work, yes I’m at work, because I can’t get on a computer with editing software and for some reason the sound on this computer doesn’t work so I can’t listen to lectures either. Graduated but still listening to lectures, wonderful, I know. Work is temporary, it’s only a 2 week thing so no big deal. I’m actually trying to test how pictures look on the blog so here goes.

After much deliberation and help from friends, I’ve ended up using Blogger and naming it Obienomics. Two other names I considered we or relation to Gary. He suggested Obieonekenobie while I thought about using So Awkward. Anyways thanks to Aaron, whose blog inspired me to start my own, I’ll be posting stuff whenever I can.
